Infortrend’s EonStor 10GbE iSCSI-host Storage Systems Achieve VMware Ready™ Status
SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct 19, 2010 – Infortrend® (Public TPE: 2495), the networked storage expert, today announced that its EonStor S16E-R1240 and S16E-G1240 storage systems, featuring 10GbE iSCSI host connectivity, have achieved VMware Ready™ status. This designation indicates that the EonStor S16E-R1240 and S16E-G1240 have passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware and are now listed on the VMware Hardware Compatibility List.
Passing the extensive VMware-specified testing helps ensure that the dual-controller EonStor S16E-R1240 and single-controller EonStor S16E-G1240 storage systems make best use of VMware technology and are ready for deployment in customer environments.
