Infrastructure Engineer (System&Network)

Throughwave (Thailand) Distribution Department is a premier value-added distributor for IT Infrastructure products ranging from core network switches, wireless, network devices, security appliances, endpoint security, servers, and storage systems. We also provide customized solution such as HPC Cluster, AI/ML Application, Cloud Computing, Virtualization, Container, Open networking, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Software-Defined Data Center, and Enterprise Authentication.

We are looking for Infrastructure Engineers who want to excel in Enterprise IT Infrastructure design to help us expand the market in South East Asia.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead for products and technologies.
  • Design the best practice infrastructures for customers.
  • Implementation of best practice infrastructures
  • Build and maintain partner and customer relationships.

Qualifications:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent (No or little work experience is OK.)
  • Have a strong fundamental understanding on network security and networking concept.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-starter, punctuality, good interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills.
  • Constructive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a global team.
  • Have service mind and a passion to strive for the best.

Preferred Skill (Nice to have but not required to):

  • Virtualization Infrastructure: VMware, Hyper-V, Xen, etc.
  • Windows/Linux/Unix system administrator
  • Active Directory/LDAP/RADIUS
  • Storage/Filesystem SAN/NAS/ZFS
  • Opensource e.g., FreeNAS, K8, Docker, Ceph
