Infortrend Technology, a leading enterprise storage manufacturer, has announced the launch of the Infortrend EonServ 7000—a server system designed for Video Management Software (VMS). It has been certified by Milestone to support simultaneous recording from up to 570 CCTV channels.
Milestone has certified that the Infortrend EonServ 7000 is fully compatible with XProtect VMS Surveillance Systems. It can support video recording at a resolution of 3 megapixels (2048×1536) at 30 fps for up to 570 channels simultaneously, delivering a throughput of 3,500 Mbps using dual Intel E5-2620 v4 processors.

Supports up to two Intel E5 8-core processors SAS 12Gbps connectivity for HDD/SSD Supports 1/10GbE network connectivity Available in 2U 12-bay and 3U 16-bay models Expandable with 4U 60-bay expansion enclosures In addition, Infortrend also offers other EonServ models to meet smaller-scale VMS requirements, such as the Infortrend EonServ 5000, which supports up to 150 channels at the same video resolution.
