Infortrend Adds Certified Storage for Veeam Backup & Replication

These solutions are now part of the Veeam Ready Repository category, which includes storage systems optimized for use as backup repositories with Veeam Backup & Replication. They support all key features such as Full Backup, Full VM Restore, Synthetic Full Backup, and Instant VM Recovery. This makes Infortrend a strong option for organizations seeking cost-effective, high-performance backup solutions for VMware or Hyper-V environments.
The Infortrend EonStor DS is designed for high scalability, supporting up to 450 disk drives and providing a maximum capacity of 4.5 PB through expansion enclosures. It also delivers high performance, with sequential read throughput up to 11,000 MB/s and sequential write throughput up to 5,500 MB/s. Meanwhile, the Infortrend EonStor GS supports unified storage (SAN + NAS), making it suitable for organizations that require both file-level and block-level storage. It also offers cloud connectivity with major providers such as Amazon S3, Microsoft Azure, OpenStack Swift, and Alibaba Cloud.
