Network/Storage Infrastructure Engineer 2012

Throughwave (Thailand) Distribution Department is a premier distributor for products ranging from core  network switches, wireless network devices, security appliances, and storage systems both NAS/SAN. We’re looking for infrastructure engineers  who want to excel in IT infrastructure design to help us expand the market in South East Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for being on the top of technology curve for products and technologies mentioned above.
• Help our partners (system integrator) design the best practice infrastructures for end customers.
• Help act as pre-sale role/pre-sale training for partners.
• Conduct technical training classes for partners and end-customers.
• Help partners implement or control implementation of best practice infrastructures for end customers.

 

Qualifications:

• At least bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent (No or little work experience is OK.)
• Have a strong fundamental understanding on networking concept like TCP handshake, routing protocol, routing concept.
• Constructive attitude and willingness to work as a part of a global team.
• Self starter, good interpersonal skills, and effective communication skills.
• Have service mind and a passion to strive for the best.
• Project management skill.
• Problem Solver.

 

Preferred Skill (Nice to have but not required to):

• Wireless Networking and RF design
• SAN/NAS experience
• Windows Active Directory domain design
• Linux/Unix system administrator
• Network Security
• LDAP
